About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements
- Valid state dental hygiene license
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Licensed for Anesthetic Admin, Invisalign and Arestin
- Proficiency in using software for treatment planning
- Knowledge of medical terminology, dental office systems, and medical coding
- Familiarity using electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
Hours:
Monday: 8am-6pm
Tuesday + Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday: 7am-3:30pm
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.5 per week
